Holes of the world
I ran across this link today and thought it was really cool and fascinating and just thought I would pass it along. The source is from Deputy-Dog.com.
One of the largest holes/mines is a diamond mine in Siberia
"at 525 metres deep with a top diameter of 1200 metres there’s even a no-fly zone above the hole due to a few helicopters being sucked in."
While this is all well and good I think they forgot the largest one located in Washington, DC......wait for it.....
Unlike the holes on that other link, this one actually makes a sound.... kinda like that sound the Titanic made as it was going down?
